Shipping within the US:

Products usually ship in 1 to 3 business days via UPS Ground or USPS Mail. If the product you have purchased is back-ordered you will be notified within 2 business days.

The cost of expedited air freight will be calculated at Check Out. Expedited orders (UPS Next day, 2nd Day or 3rd Day Air) must be placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time to guarantee shipment on the day of the order. 


The USPS Priority Small Box rate will be added to all shipments under $75.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will only be collected from orders received from the state of Connecticut.


International Shipping Has Been Suspended.

All orders are charged is US Dollars. The bank that holds your credit card or PayPal will convert the charge to your local currency at that days exchange rate.

International Priority shipping takes 5-15 business days.  First Class Mail takes 7-20 days.

We currently ship to:

Pacific: Australia, Japan, New Caledonia, New Zealand

Europe: France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland. Northern Ireland (UK address) and United Kingdom (email us if you are from the UK, we need to make special arrangements)


Note: You are responsible for any duties or taxes payable within your country. These taxes are payable at time of delivery to your local authorities. We do not collect the duty or tax at time of order.

Scopes will NOT be shipped outside the U.S. for the following reasons:

- ITAR restricted scopes (These are clearly marked on the website)
- Exportation of most night vision equipment is prohibited 
- Countries requiring a U.S. Export license
- Persons identified by the U.S. OFFICE OF FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL

Sightron and Burris and Leupold prohibit the exportation of their scopes by US retailers. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Return & Exchange Policy

All of products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and your personal inspection. If you are not satisfied with your item(s) we will refund your purchase or replace the product with one of equal value, your choice.

Scopes that have been mounted on guns can not be returned unless there is a quality issue. These scopes are considered used and therefore have reduced value.

Returns are inspected at time of receipt. 

Items returned for quality issues:  Items that are damaged or do not function properly at time of receipt must be returned preferably with a copy of the invoice with the reason for return written on the invoice.  If no invoice is available please include a note with your name, address, approximate date of purchase and reason for return.  Please return in the original, undamaged and defaced packaging with all instruction manuals, warranty cards, accessories (e.g. scope covers) and any promotional items in the box.  Shipping costs will be refunded.

 Items returned for customer convenience: A copy of the invoice or a note with your name, address and approximate date of purchase must be sent with the item.  The reason for return must be written on the invoice or note.  The item must be returned in the original undamaged and defaced packaging with all instruction manuals, warranty cards, accessories (e.g. scope covers) and any promotional items in the box.  Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Refunds for returned items that pass inspection are processed the same day the return is received at our shop.  Products that do not pass inspection are returned to the customer.

Exchanges are accepted provided items pass inspection per the terms above.  Any difference in value of the exchange will be charged or credited to the customer.  Customer is responsible for shipping cost of exchange to The Rifle Scope Store and for the exchange items back to them.
